The Praxsym CW Transmitter is a complete, portable continuous wave test source. Used as an input source to test a distributed antenna system, the Praxsym CW Transmitter can provide test signals aiding in the design and optimization of in-building and outdoor networks.
The intuitive menu configuration and touch screen display provide a simple to use solution to CW testing. The “Scan Mode” feature aids in the reduction of test times by transmitting multiple output configurations. Data can be collected through the use of a handheld spectrum analyzer.
The Praxsym CW Transmitter is a complete, portable continuous wave (CW) test source capable of transmitting test signals on two channels simultaneously. The output from each channel can be enabled independently. Frequency and output level for each channel can be set from the touch keys on the front panel or the LCD touchscreen display. Each channel contains four Setups.
Set-ups allow the user to input up to four output configurations per channel. Scan Mode, allows users to scan through the saved Setups at a user selected rate (Dwell Time). Dwell times can be set as low as 0.25 seconds, which allows the user to measure up to eight different frequencies with one pass through a ven-ue. Dwell times as high as 1.5 min are also available for test procedures which require longer amounts of time.
The transmitter can be powered using the internal 6 AA rechargeable batteries for 6 hours of continuous operation or from the AC/DC wall adapter included. Recharging takes 2 hours.
