NI PXIe-5696

You can use the PXIe-5696 AE to extend the amplitude range and enhance the amplitude accuracy of the PXIe-5654 from -110 dBm to +30 dBm, according to frequency. You can only use the PXIe-5696 as an amplitude extender to the PXIe-5654 RF analog signal generator. To use the PXIe-5696 with the PXIe-5654, you must connect the hardware modules using high-quality SMA-to-SMA and SMB-to-SMB coaxial cables.

When combined with the PXIe-5654, the PXIe-5696 has the following basic characteristics and features:

• 250 kHz to 20 GHz frequency range
• -110 dBm to +30 dBm amplitude range (depending on frequency)
• Contained in a two-slot-wide PXI Express form factor, five slots total with PXIe-5654
• Programmed with the NI-RFSG instrument driver or controlled interactively using the NI-RFSG Soft Front Panel (SFP)

The PXIe-5696 follows industry-standard Plug&Play specifications for the PXI Express bus and allows seamless integration with compliant systems.
