FS-Zxx external mixers are a simple way to increase the usable frequency range to 325 GHz in signal and spectrum analyzers as well as phase noise and VCO testers.
As 5G expands and automotive radars become more common, more measurements are needed in the mmWave range. The trend also applies to swept measurements in conformance testing as well as vector signal analysis for demodulation and quality testing of mmWave frequency signals.
