The Keithley 6517A Electrometer / High Resistance Meter is a 5½-digit precision instrument designed for ultra-low current, high-resistance, charge, and high-impedance voltage measurements. It combines an electrometer with an integrated ±1000 V voltage source, making it ideal for insulation resistance testing, material resistivity measurements, leakage current analysis, and semiconductor research.
The instrument offers measurement sensitivity down to 1 fA (10⁻¹⁵ A) and resistance measurements up to 10¹⁶ Ω, with exceptional input impedance and extremely low input bias current for accurate measurements of high-resistance devices and insulating materials.
